Privacy Policy

1. Data Storage

All data you create or save using the Extension is stored exclusively on your local computer within your web browser's local storage (IndexedDB). This includes all lead information, campaigns, notes, attachments, and any other data associated with the CRM.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect or Transmit

To be perfectly clear, we do not collect, store, track, or transmit any of your personal or usage data to any remote server. Your data is never sent over the internet by the Extension to us or any third party.

3. What Data the Extension Stores Locally

• Personally Identifiable Information (PII): Names, email addresses, and phone numbers that you manually enter or capture from webpages.
• Website Content: Screenshots of webpages or files you choose to attach to a lead.
• User Activity Data: Source URL of a webpage where you captured a lead, to help you remember context.
• Notes and Organizational Data: Notes, tags, campaign names, or pipeline stages you create to organize leads.

This data is managed by you and is never accessible to anyone else unless they have direct access to your computer and browser profile.

4. Permissions

The Extension requests certain permissions to function correctly. Here’s why:

• <all_urls>, activeTab, scripting: Capture lead information from any website you visit.
• sidePanel: Provides the main CRM interface.
• storage, contextMenus: Enables the "Save to CRM" right-click menu functionality.
• downloads: Supports "Export Data" feature for saving backups on your computer.

No permission is used to track you or send your data to a remote server.

5. Future Features and Data Transmission

At present, Moon CRM works fully offline and stores all your data locally. However, in the future, we may introduce advanced features that require certain data to be sent securely to our servers. If such features are developed, we will explicitly ask for your permission before any data is transmitted. You will always remain in control of whether you want to enable those features or continue using the extension locally.

6. Data Deletion

You can delete individual leads or entire campaigns from within the Extension at any time. This action permanently removes the data from your browser's storage. If you uninstall the Extension, your browser will automatically delete all associated data.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy in the future if the Extension's functionality changes. If we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
